Welcome and Introduction

Welcome in the name of Jesus!  Welcome to St. Peter Lutheran Church -- North Judson, Indiana! We invite you to join us for worship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. or Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. (CST). We encourage you to let God have His way with you, commit your life to Jesus and turn your entire life over to following Him.

Our mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ to all people!

That's who we are and what we are about.  By God's grace we carry out His mission in this time and place to His glory distributing His holy Word and the sacraments. Word and sacrament ministry are the visible marks of a Christian church in a community. This church is not mine, yours, or the congregation's church -- it is God's church assembled to worship Him and serve His purposes as we make disciples by baptizing and teaching.
God has called each one of us into this church to make disciples of all in the community, and to offer spiritual nourishment to others with church services, Sunday school classes, Bible classes, and our Christian day school for Pre-school through the eighth grade. .

Over one hundred and thirty-five years ago God called a gathering of people to be His representatives in Starke County, North Judson and proclaim the good news of Christ Jesus in this community. Our church and school were both born out of God's calling us into His service in this way. Throughout the generations our congregation has responded faithfully again and again to God's mission call, to overcome obstacles, meet financial challenges, and build facilities in order to build up the Christian faith in people.  This is WHO we are and WHAT we do at St. Peter Lutheran Church. God has enabled us with His forgiveness, and exchanged His righteousness for our sins, to see with His eyes and to be open to His vision for each one of us, as well as, the church and school. The question we all need to ask God each day is, "Oh Lord, what is it you would have us do today to Your glory?" and "What are You doing in our midst?"  As we seek God's will in our life and see the world with His eyes, His vision, the congregation of St. Peter will be empowered to walk boldly where ever God leads us. There is no better path to follow. Thank you for visiting our website.......please join us for worship soon and become a part of what God is doing here........regardless of where you end up geographically, always and each day.......let God have His way with you and lift high
the cross of Christ Jesus.

Peace be with you,
Rev. Michael Boyd
